Enables category managers, space planners and store operations teams to view the effect of space changes across store formats and at individual store level.
It is accessed from the green icon on the dashboard.
Within the store view the first option is to select the “Summary” (1 in Figure below) or “Detailed (Planograms)” (2 in Figure below) view using the tabs.
Summary View
- The screen opens in table view (below) however the graph icon switches to and from graph view
- The table SPACE SUMMARY BY STORE FORMAT shows by group of stores in this case format), total saleas area, linear space and the amount of space change requried compared to the optimum in quantum and percentage
- The graph plots each store according to its sales area size and the percentage of space changing
- This view helps in illustrating and evaluating which group of stores requires the most change
Planogram (Detailed) view
After selecting or searching for a store from the drop down list, the to half of the screen shows 3 graphs- specific to this store:
- Current and optimum space participation of each department ( the exact values can be seen by hovering over the bars)
- Percentage of planograms changing ( the impact on the store and customers)
- Percentage of total space changing- the real proportion of fixtures that will require emptying/ remerchandising and refilling
The bottom half of the screen shows the detailed planogram view by department. All planograms for a given store are shown (contrasting with the planogram view which shows all the stores for a selected planogram).
Description of the columns
The table can be sorted and filtered or downloaded into spreadsheet for further analysis.
